Founded in Avondale Estates, Ga in 1955 by Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner, Waffle House is widely known as a restaurant where you can get quality food, fast, in a 24 hour sit down environment. The concept proved to be a winner and they quickly expanded to 5 locations within the first year of operation, becoming a staple in Atlanta food culture. 

You can pretty much walk out of your front door and trip and fall into a waffle house, they're not hard to find.
